A bit about me...
Rachael Spiers is a Scottish born illustrator now living and working in Bedlington, Northumberland.
After studying Fine Art and Illustration in the Midlands, Rachael returned to the North East, and over the last 10 years has worked and exhibited in various art galleries before setting up her online illustration business in October 2020.
Specialising in collaborative projects, Rachael designs bespoke illustrations and window displays as well as hosting workshops for private and corporate clients across the UK, focusing on specific details that make each project unique.

IRachael has worked with brands including Hirestreet UK, ASK Italian, and managed collaborative projects with Northumberland County Council, Beyond Youth UK and Hello Hirst.

How can I book a Drink & Draw session?
What is a Drink & Draw event?
I lead a relaxed and unplugged evening of no skills needed observational drawing.
How long will the session last?
Recommend min 1hr
Max 2hrs
plus 30min setup/derig
What do I need to provide?
All dry materials provided, I just need tables and
chairs!
Where can I host a Drink & Draw?
No venue too small, I've hosted for a party of 10 or a max 50 guests
What happens at the event?
Participants are encouraged to get stuck in, stay present and get drawing!

Do you offer Commissions and Custom orders?
How long before I receive my order?
Yes!
From individual cards and packs to small and large custom illustration commissions, I can create specialised artwork for any occasion. I've worked on logo design, flyers, posters, badge creation, invitations - you name it!
Just get in touch direct if you're not sure via my email or contact form.
I need a min of 14 days for standard greeting card designs - anything larger or more complex may need advance booking
Payment needed at confirmation to secure the project.
Please ask if you need something more urgently as I can often offer a quicker service for a small fee
How can I pay?
You can pay easily and order custom illustrations direct with me.
Once the work is confirmed I'll send an invoice with details on how to pay either via BACs or PayPal
Payment is needed initially before I will begin any work/ drafts or confirm a date.
Will you travel ?
Yes of course! For more bespoke designs or corporate projects, please get in touch direct and I can share quotes or an invoice for unique items and illustrations
Can you design for my company eg logo or something bigger?
Yes! I live in Northumberland, but can travel to your home/ business for window illustrations and Drawing Events. This cost will just need to be added to the overall charge for the window design or Drink & Draw event
How does Window Illustration work?
Together, we'll discuss, plan and confirm the full window design including an estimate of time needed, confirmation of fees and any other info.
I draw on the inside of windows using acrylic, washable pens and paint so the design is temporary but will last at least 4 months.
